Turok 2: Seeds of Evil ( バ イ オ レ ン ス キ ラ ー TUROK NEW GENERATION en Japón; traducido Violence Killer: Turok New Generation ) es un juego de disparos en primera persona desarrollado por Iguana Entertainment y publicado por Acclaim Entertainment. Se lanzó primero para la consola Nintendo 64 y luego se portó a PC. Un juego diferente ambientado en el mismo universo ficticio se lazó para GameBoy Color. En 2017 Nightdive Studios lo remasteriza para PC y luego para Xbox One y Nintendo Switch.
Seeds of Evil es el segundo juego de la serie de videojuegos de Turok y una secuela de Turok: Dinosaur Hunter . El juego sigue la historia del último Turok y sus esfuerzos para evitar que una poderosa entidad alienígena escape de los límites de su Nave Luminosa. Seeds of Evil presenta una campaña para un jugador que consta de seis niveles y un modo multijugador donde varios jugadores pueden competir entre sí en varios tipos de juegos. Es compatible con Nintendo 64 Expansion Pak, que habilita un modo gráfico opcional de alta resolución (640x480). El juego N64 originalmente estaba destinado a ser lanzado en un cartucho de 12 MB sin un componente multijugador, pero finalmente se lanzó en un cartucho de 32 MB y se considera uno de los que exprimen los recursos de la N64.
El jugador asume el papel de Turok desde una perspectiva en primera persona. Como Turok, el jugador puede correr, saltar, subir escaleras, nadar y bucear bajo el agua durante un período limitado de tiempo. Puede llevar un número ilimitado de armas, que van desde arcos y flechas hasta pistolas, rifles, una escopeta, un lanzagranadas, un lanzallamas, un fusi ly armas más avanzadas como el Cerebral Bore, que dispara un proyectil de referencia capaz de engancharse en las cabezas de los enemigos, matándolos perforando sus cráneos y explotando. Turok tiene una cierta cantidad de salud que disminuye cuando es atacado por enemigos. Si la salud de Turok se agota por completo, el jugador pierde un punto de Fuerza Vital y tiene que continuar el juego desde un punto de control anterior. Si el jugador pierde todos los puntos de la Fuerza Vital, el juego terminará. Los proveedores de municiones, salud y fuerza vital se pueden recoger a lo largo del juego para aumentar los recursos del jugador.
El modo multijugador es de hasta 4 jugadores en pantalla partida en la N64 y 16 en PC via red.
La versión PC original ha sido incluida en numerosas revistas de videojuegos como CD de portada.

Turok 2: Seeds of Evil is the sequel to Turok: Dinosaur Hunter. Having defeated the Campaigner, Turok throws the Chronocepter into a waiting volcano to destroy it. Unfortunately the blast awakens an even deadlier force - The Primagen - who lays in wait for his freedom from a wrecked space craft, buried at the core of the Lost Land. Once again a Turok is tasked with restoring peace to the land and stopping the Primagen from merging Earth with the nether world.
The game features an armory twice as large as its predecessor, and many weapons will even have a later update that makes them even more devastating. New weapons include the lethal discus Razor Wind, a proximity mine layer, and the Cerebral Bore, a flying grenade that homes in on an enemy's head, drills through their skull, and then explodes. Enemies have damage models now, allowing limbs to be torn off or bloody holes to be blasted through torsos. Turok won't be facing any human opponents this time, but will find himself under attack by plenty of dinosaur/human hybrids, brutish giants, and man-sized insectoids.
The goal of each level is to reach the end and defend one of the five totems that keeps the Primagen captive in its ship as well as finding keys to unlock the portals that lead to later levels. In each level Turok can also find a special spiritual power, such as immunity to lava or a long jump. After finding a power, he will need to return to an earlier level to use that power to find one of the five keys that opens the portal to the Primagen itself. While searching for spiritual powers Turok will occasionally find portals that transport him to a strange place full of deadly creatures who appear to be unaffiliated with the Primagen, but discovering their true purpose is the job for another Turok.
A multiplayer game is included as well, with options for between 2 and 4 players and game-types like deathmatch and capture-the-flag. This multiplayer mode would later be expanded into a full game with Turok: Rage Wars.
