Planea por el cielo azul con este sensacional juego de simulación de vuelo de Nintendo. Elige uno de los seis aviadores y aborda misiones que aumentan en dificultad para conseguir las distintas licencias de nivel: Beginner's Class, Class A, Class B y, para terminar, Pilot Class. Para alcanzar el nivel de Pilot Class tendrás que superar 24 pruebas.Para comenzar, puedes elegir entre tres vehículos: Ala Delta, Cohete Mochila y Girocóptero. Consigue una buena puntuación en tu camino hacia la consecución de una licencia y podrás abrir hasta cuatro juegos más. Paracaidismo en Sky Diving (Parapente), despliega tus alas y vuela como un pájaro en Birdman (Hombre Pájaro) y bota alto en Jumble Hopper (Botas de Salto). Puedes incluso intentar acertar en el centro de una diana lejana como una Cannonball (Bala de Cañón). Para ganar alas, tendrás que dominar los despegues, los aterrizajes y la permanencia en el aire. Durante el vuelo, no le pierdas ojo al combustible disponible, a la altitud y a las condiciones del viento.Para licencias superiores, tendrás que seguir complicadas rutas y conseguir pruebas fotográficas. Por ejemplo, la licencia Pilot Class para el Rocket Belt te hará volar por retorcidas cavernas y dirigir la Rocket Ball saltarina por una empinada ladera de una montaña. Durante tu recorrido hasta conseguir tu objetivo, tendrás que luchar contra corrientes ascendentes, nubes y fuertes ventiscas. Los amantes de la acción pueden disparar misiles contra Mecha Hawk, un robot que viene arrasando por Little States Island. La acción pasa de las tórridas selvas de Crescent Island a los témpanos de hielo que se desprenden de Everfrost Island. Little States Island está repleta de símbolos emblemáticos de EE.UU, como Monte Rushmore, la Estatua de la Libertad y el Gran Cañón. El procesador de Nintendo 64 inunda los escenarios de objetos en movimiento, como globos de aire caliente, ballenas que expulsan chorros de agua, humo procedente de una refinería de petróleo y hasta una lanzadera espacial.

Soar into the wild blue yonder with this stunning flight sim/action game from Nintendo! Choose one of six aviators and tackle increasingly difficult assignments to win your wings: Beginner's Class, Class A, Class B and, finally, Pilot Class. Winning your Pilot Class wings will require you to successfully navigate 24 tests.

Basic vehicles include the Hang Glider, Rocket Belt and Gyrocopter. Score well on your way to a license and you can open up four bonus games. Parachute in Sky Diving, sprout wings and fly like a bird in Birdman, and bounce high in Jumble Hopper. You can even try to hit a distant bull's eye as a human Cannonball!

To earn your wings, you'll have to master takeoffs, landings and staying aloft. While in the air, keep close track of your fuel and altitude as well as wind conditions.

For advanced licenses, you'll have to follow tricky routes and bring home photographic proof. For example, the Pilot Class license for the Rocket Belt requires you to fly through a twisting cavern and guide a bouncing Rocket Ball down a steep mountainside.

On the way to winning your wings, you'll have to battle updrafts, clouds and blizzards. Action fans can squeeze off a few rounds off rockets against Meca Hawk, a robot rampaging through Little States Island.

The action ranges from torrid jungles of Crescent Island to the ice floes bobbing off Ever-Frost Island. Little States Island is packed with famous U.S. landmarks, including Mount Rushmore, the Statue of Liberty and the Grand Canyon.

The N64's powerful processors fill the lush backgrounds with plenty of moving objects, including hot-air balloons, spouting whales, smoke rising from an oil refinery and a soaring space shuttle. Excellent transparency effects make you feel that you're flying right through clouds.
