¡Con Pokémon Stadium podrás llevar tus combates de Pokémon Rojo, Azul y Amarillo a un nuevo escenario, tu Nintendo 64! Pokémon Stadium ofrece a los entrenadores un asiento de primera fila en los combates 3D. Sus numerosas características, como la posibilidad de jugar a Pokémon Rojo, Azul o Amarillo de Game Boy en tu NINTENDO 64, hacen de Pokémon Stadium un título imprescindible para los fans de Pokémon. Los entrenadores Pokémon también pueden realizar combates por turnos similares a las ediciones Pokémon de Game Boy, aunque las geniales secuencias de animación y los efectos especiales de ataque darán más vida a tus Pokémon. Pokémon Stadium gives trainers a ring-side seat for heated 3D arena battles. Tons of features, including support for playing your Game Boy Pokémon Red, Blue or Yellow game through your N64, make Stadium a must-have for Pokémon fans!
The American version of Pokémon Stadium is actually based on the second Japanese edition of Pokémon Stadium. Pokémon Trainers are able to conduct turn-based battles similar to the Game Boy versions of Pokémon, but outrageous animation sequences and flashy special attack effects will make your Pokémon come to life like never before.
One of the most exciting aspects of Pokémon Stadium is that you're able to battle using your most loyal Pokémon from the Red, Blue and Yellow versions of Pokémon (sold separately). Thanks to a Transfer Pak that comes with the Pokémon Stadium Game Pak and plugs into the bottom of your Controller, data can be transferred straight from a Game Boy cartridge to your N64. (Note: You can not trade Pokémon directly from a Pokémon Gold or Silver Game Pak to Pokémon Stadium. For more information, see the FAQs.)
The Technical Machines, attacks and levels of your trained Pokémon are available on Pokémon Stadium, so you won't have to leave any of your favorites behind. You'll want your specially trained Pokémon to battle Stadium's toughest rivals.
On top of the visual treat of watching your Pokémon duke it out on the big screen, Pokémon Stadium also contains a variety of minigames, including the Nintendo Power Award-winning Sushi-Go-Round, in which rambunctious Lickitungs slurp up platefuls of lunch. Watch out for the red-hot entree!
One hundred fifty Pokémon can be used, or "rented," in Pokémon Stadium, even if you decide not to transfer data from your Game Boy Pokémon games. (Mewtwo is never available as a Rental Pokémon, but you can upload Mewtwo from your Pokémon Game Pak.) Pokémon Stadium will allow up to four players to compete in a grueling Pokémon tournament, designed to reveal which of your friends is the best Pokémon Trainer.
Pokémon Stadium is available now as a specially priced Player's Choice game with a MSRP of $39.95. The game has been rated "E" (Everyone) by the independent Entertainment Software Rating Board with the content descriptor of Mild Animated Violence. Games rated "E" are suitable for persons age six or older.
